Skate Escape

Logo Design

I was commissioned to create a logo for an upcoming roller skating rink in Salem, OR. The client was inspired by the playfulness of the late eighties / nineties and neon signs, so I started by collection visual references as a mood-board and working on several options. I initially designed around the name of Skate Palace, but after the name of the project shifted, I pivoted the design around the name of Skate Escape. I created both a primary and alternative logo for flexible brand application.

Client Testimonial: “If you're looking for anything in digital design, Tier Design Studio is the place to go. Emily did a great job assisting me to develop a logo for my roller skating company. She possesses astounding creative insight and was able to design not only one, but two amazing logos that encompassed the exact idea and feel I was looking for. Working with her was enjoyable, as her prompt communication, design advice, and follow up was timely. I look forward to working with her in the future, and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for custom design. Thank you Emily!” - Austin Glinphratum, Business Owner
