Lazy Dog Farms

Logo and Package Design

With this project, I designed the logo, branding, and packaging for Lazy Dog Farms, a family-owned farm in Silverton, Oregon. They’re known for their golden honey, farm-fresh eggs, and resident bullmastiff. In order to maintain the friendly, handmade aesthetic, I used a natural-edged brush in Photoshop to illustrate the bullmastiff. I offset the coloring to replicate the offset printing error found in screen printing. I also hand-rendered the logotype. I chose a honey yellow as a nod to the bees and their product. For the egg cartons, I wanted to feature the stars of the show (the chickens), so I made an alternative logo with the birds.
